OVERVIEW
THE SCIENTIST

Alongside her creative and entrepreneurial work, Sandha is a double-masters and nutrition scientist at the University of Pennsylvania. Her research spans epidemiology, gerontology, and nutrition science — and thanks to a special program funded by the NIH, she's on a mission to reverse disease through nature's original medicine -- food.
THE FOUNDER

As Co-founder and CEO of MAMAS®, Sonia's is leading a food revolution to reshape the way we eat, starting with better-for-you fats -- the base of all cooking. With a focus on health, sustainability, and impact, MAMAS is building a future where better food choices are both accessible, inspiring, and most of all -- FUN.
THE ADVOCATE

Sonia, along with her husband Sunny Tripathy, actively volunteer, support, and physically lead conservation efforts around the world. With a passion for protecting biodiversity and restoring ecosystems. The duo have participated in more than 13 projects worldwide, including many in the US, India, and Cambodia.

FROM GREAT PAIN
COMES GREAT PURPOSE
After losing her closest ally, her father, to preventable disease, Sonia applied to University of Pennsylvania for her second masters, this time in Science. After getting into a highly competitive program that only accepts 15 students, she graduated with a singular mission: helping people help themselves.
She bootstrapped her own business, taking on manipulative big food corporations with simple and clean daily staples, and without any investors, or ads, her business debuted as an Amazon #1 New Release. Shortly thereafter, her company Mamas beat out 5000 other brands to get into Target's Accelerator, and now-- is prepping to scale into retail.
In a world of fake experts, this Ivy-League scientist is bringing delicious foods inspired by moms, and the TRUTH, to the masses.
